Use a clear color reference
Send an approved swatch or physical reference when possible. Screens, cameras and lighting change the appearance of color, especially in faceted stones and metallic finishes.
Show where the colors belong
For multi-row pieces, label each row. For mixed packs, list the colors and their proportions. A short annotated image is often more useful than a long description.
Approve the complete combination
View the colors with the proposed metal tone and packaging. Keep the approved sample or reference linked to the final order details.
